MICROBA KNOWLEDGE User Manual

1. Purpose

KNOWLEDGE is the controlled documentation and article library for MICROBA.

It provides access to approved content according to the reader's audience and permissions.

2. Finding documents

Use the Knowledge navigation and available filters to locate:

• User Manuals
• Admin Manuals
• Developer Guides
• Governance documents
• articles and other controlled guides

Only documents published for your audience should appear in normal reader views.

3. Reading a guide

Open a guide to use the dedicated Guide Reader. Depending on the document, the reader may provide:

• title and metadata
• structured Markdown content
• headings and navigation
• download options where allowed

4. Document status

Common document states include:

• Draft — under review and not yet canonical for general readers
• Published — current readable version
• Archived — retained for history but no longer current

When a canonical version replaces an older document, the old version should normally be archived rather than deleted.

5. Canonical documentation

For controlled MICROBA documentation, the published canonical document should be treated as the current source of instruction for that topic.

If an older archived guide conflicts with the current published guide, follow the current published guide unless governance explicitly says otherwise.

6. Search and navigation

Use category, audience and available filter controls to narrow results. If a document seems missing, confirm that:

• you are signed in where required
• the document is Published
• the document visibility matches your audience

7. Downloads

Some guide collections may provide a bulk ZIP download. The system may reconstruct that ZIP in the browser to avoid hosting/security limitations.

A downloaded ZIP is a convenience copy; the current Published document in Knowledge remains the authoritative controlled version.

8. Troubleshooting

A document is visible twice

One copy may be an old or archived record. Report duplicates so Admin can confirm the canonical Published record.

A guide is Draft

Draft documents are awaiting review. Do not treat them as final operational instruction unless specifically authorized.

Download fails

Retry once. If it continues, report the guide/collection name and browser used.
