This Privacy Policy explains how MICROBA collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and otherwise processes personal data when you visit MICROBA websites, create or use a MICROBA account, participate in MICROBA programmes or community features, purchase products or services, use MICROBA digital experiences, communicate with us, or interact with MICROBA systems including AI-assisted services.

This Policy should be read together with the applicable MICROBA Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Disclaimer, and any additional notices presented for a specific service or activity.

Guest, Member & Product Context

  • Guest purchases do not require a MICROBA PROFILE or MID. COMMERCE may retain the minimum customer and transaction information needed to process and evidence the Order.
  • For registered members, PROFILE remains the authority for canonical member identity and saved Places. PRODUCT consumes only approved information required for the relevant Product experience.
  • For a MICROBA Moment, PRODUCT may process the minimum approved calculation inputs and preserve the required historical Product snapshot. Guest commercial identity must not be represented as a fake MID or member record.
  • Device location may be used when permitted. Where unavailable for a registered member, the Theme Shared Location Context may fall back to the PROFILE Home Address. System-resolved latitude, longitude and timezone metadata are not treated as user-authored fields.

Additional Notes

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or in the notice presented at the time of collection.

If you do not provide certain information, some features, products or services may not be available to you.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data unless required by law or clearly authorised.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of MICROBA systems, from trusted service providers acting on our behalf, and from other sources where permitted by law.

We use your information to create and maintain your MID and Living Identity, manage your profile, account status, and preferences, and provide you with a personalised ecosystem experience.

We use your data to deliver relevant content, programme recommendations, features, and communications that match your interests and journey within MICROBA.

Commerce, Orders & Payments

We use your data to process orders, manage payments, issue receipts, handle delivery or fulfilment, manage refunds and returns, and maintain purchase history.

HIVE / Referral Programme

We use information to manage fixed sponsor relationships, one-level Direct Networks, qualification, referral aliases, qualifying SET records, Nectar programme wallet points, eligible 9% direct-sponsor commissions, and HIVE audit history.

SA Programme Records

We use your information to manage SA provision, realized or pending entitlement, serialized SA selection and ownership, transfers, use, redemption, recycling through PETI BESI, and related programme records in accordance with applicable programme rules.

We use your data to respond to your inquiries, provide support, send important service messages, programme updates, security alerts, and other operational communications.
