MICROBA PROFILE USER MANUAL - Amendment 3.2.10

Amends PROFILE User Manual v3.2.0 for PROFILE 3.2.10: one-time Sponsor appointment guided by the Sponsor repository, and what MICROBA records when you accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.

Replaces the Sponsor and referral guidance in sections 4 and 5, > and adds section 12. All other sections remain correct. ## 4. Registration and Sponsor (replaces rev 3.2.0 section 4) You can create a MICROBA identity in two ways, and you can buy without creating one at all. **Registering through a referral link.** If you open a member\'s referral link and then register, that member becomes your Sponsor. The relationship is fixed at registration and cannot be changed afterwards. **Registering without a Sponsor.** A referral is optional. You may register with no Sponsor at all. **Appointing a Sponsor later.** If you registered without one, you may appoint a Sponsor later - once. This is done from the Sponsor card in your PROFILE settings: 1. Enter a referral link, referral alias, or Sponsor MID. 2. MICROBA resolves what you entered to a single member record and shows it to you. Nothing is saved at this point. 3. Check that the record shown is the person you intend. Confirm. Only after you confirm is the Sponsor fixed. **Once confirmed it is permanent and cannot be changed or replaced.** If you already have a Sponsor, this option is not available to you. You cannot appoint yourself. ## 5. Referral link and alias (replaces rev 3.2.0 section 5) Your referral alias forms your personal referral link. You may change your alias. Changing it does not affect anything already recorded. Purchases made through your old link stay credited to you, and members already in your network stay in it. The link text changes; who you are does not. If someone buys through your referral link without registering, that purchase is credited to you. If they later register using a different member\'s link, that other member becomes their Sponsor - but the earlier purchase remains credited to you. ## 12. What we record when you accept our policies (new) When you register you are asked to accept the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. From PROFILE 3.2.10 MICROBA records, alongside your acceptance: - which policy you accepted; - the exact version number in force at that moment; - that version\'s effective date; - a link to the document. This means that if a policy is later revised, the record still shows which version you actually agreed to. Earlier records show only that acceptance was given. If you buy as a guest without registering, your acceptance is recorded on the Order instead. See the COMMERCE User Manual.
